Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with our Students at Marcos De Niza. In order to be in compliance with our procedures, below are the instructions on how to apply as a volunteer through the district.

1. Please visit our District website @ www.tempeunion.org

2. Select the community tab and select “Volunteering at TUHSD

3. Under How to be a Volunteer, please click Frontline.

4. Once you have completed the application, please call or email Miguel Hernandez: 480-838-3200 ext. 40106 or email mhernandez@tuhsd.k12.az.us

Miguel Hernandez, Activities Assistant will begin the Personal Action Request (PAR).

Once the PAR has been submitted, HR will contact you via phone, or email to set up an appointment.

PLEASE, do not go to the District without an appointment.

The PAR will take an additional 4 to 6 weeks from your appointment date to be cleared. If you are a parent, please let HR know at the appointment, and you will get a parent conditional release permit. This is the process to clear you as a parent, until the PAR has been cleared. Once the process has been completed, you will receive a work permit from HR indicating you are cleared to volunteer. Mr. Miguel will also receive a copy of your work permit, and will keep it on file.
